Berrylicious made our afternoon even delicious!

April 5, 2017

You can’t buy happiness but you can buy ice cream! Ice creams are something which brings joy on faces and there will not be anyone who hates ice creams. In last 5 years, I see drastic change in Ice Cream parlors with respect to quality and perfection. I will not regret ice creams and love to eat any point of time.

Recently, one of my good friends Sudarshan Sampath invited me along with bunch of food lovers to try out Ice Creams at Berrylicious, a month or so old Ice cream parlor located in Koramangala. In the same lane, there are at least 6 to 7 popular ice cream joints with good loyal customers. So, Berrylicious should definitely do a great job in that competition.

The Berrylicious focused on ice-creams, macaroons and sorbets mostly made out of Strawberries, Blueberries and Raspberries. They also have cranberries and blackberry Ice-creams which were brilliant though. They have tried something unique and would say this is worked brilliantly. Also, they import berries from different countries. Since the berries available over here are not consistent with respect to quality.

We have tried Parfaits, Milk Shakes and Ice creams made out of berries. The range includes Sorbets, Premium Ice Creams, Natural Ice Creams and Exotic Ice Creams. Upon trying multiple Ice Creams, I liked White Chocolate with Blueberry Ice cream under exotic range. The frozen berries along with blended white chocolate blended rightly and loved every bite out of it. I have been told this is the fast selling Ice Cream among all.

I couldn’t wait to try Mixed Berry sorbet because of the presentation. Usually, sorbets are palette cleansers. However, these have become popular as ice creams. I have had best sorbets before and believe me; I would certainly add the Mixed Berry Sorbet at Berrylicious to my list. There was a plate of premium Ice-Creams like Blueberry, Cranberry, Raspberry, Blackberry and Strawberry – These Ice Creams were delicious and lot creamier than other range.

I somehow wasn’t impressed with Mixed Berry Ice-Cream Sundae, this could have been better and it was looking more like a Thick Shake topped with berries.

Well, you shouldn’t miss their Red Velvet cake! I loved clicking pictures of Red Velvet cake more than eating.

Coming to the Ambiance, it’s bright and elegant with indoor and outdoor portico seating with couple tables. The prices are competitive and scoop size is slightly bigger side compare to other places in Vicinity. Overall, it was a well spent afternoon with great company.

Now you know where to go for Ice Creams in Koramangala! They also have outlets at JP Nagar and Indiranagar.
