Experience the Traditional & Authentic Style Food at Rayalaseema Ruchulu, Indiranagar, Bangalore

November 2, 2016

I am always fond of Andhra cuisine. I can anytime relish this food. Whenever I visit any Andhra Style restaurant, I will stick to their Thali and some regional specific ones instead of other cuisines. Since they are masters in their own stuff. But, yes being placed in Bangalore, they have to quench the desire of different taste buds and hence end up serving other dishes as well . I salute some restaurants, where they stick to authentic & traditional Andhra Dishes. Rayalaseema Ruchulu is one among those!

Rayalaseema Ruchulu is one of the beautiful restaurants for traditional & authentic Andhra style food in Indiranagar. The place is well designed with village themed décor that showcases the Rayalaseema Region in Andhra Pradesh. The comfortable chairs & ambiance will give perfect soothing experience while enjoying your food.

Rayalaseema is a region in Andhra Pradesh that is well known for their spicy food. But when it comes to Rayalaseema Ruchulu, the spice levels are slightly down because of the metropolitan crowd. I am sure the food will not disappoint if you really love some mysterious Andhra Style Food.

The dishes at Rayalaseema ruchulu will be completely different from what you see in other Andhra Style Restaurants. Other restaurants customize their dishes as per the market and people’s taste. But, Rayalaseema Ruchulu never gave up! That’s something which impressed me.

Visit to Rayalaseema Ruchulu was in my bucket list since the time of launch. However, I couldn’t manage to get a good company before. But now I gained people like Jaideep Gandhi, Harshavardhan Reddy, Sumitra Kalapatapu, Chetan Kedia, Hari Camala, Manoj Kumar and so many others who were game for this place. I happened to visit with this bunch of people a couple of month’s ago for lunch.

What did we try? There were so many options on the menu and was tempting towards their Raja Bhojanam. Believe me, it’s definitely tough situation for a foodie like me while choosing if there are good and interesting dishes on the menu. And it’s a shame for a person who doesn’t eat biryani at places like Rayalaseema Ruchulu.

After so much of dilemma, I settled to the Raja Bhojanam! I was all set to eat like a King.

Well, the Raja Bhojanam is something which is loaded with so many dishes and was in a food coma. The Thali served 2 Veg Curries, 2 Veg Fries, Dal, Sambar, Rasam, Chutneys, Pudis, curd, ragi sangati, jowar roti, rice and a couple of desserts.

I found every dish authentic and tasted incredibly good. It was such a great experience to savor these beautiful dishes on that day. The carving for Rayalaseema Ruchulu food never ended in my case!

The Service was quick and the staff have immense knowledge on cuisine, which is really helpful for the diner who wants to know about the specific dish name and origin.

The only thing which is lacking in this place is high spice level in the dishes, which others dislike it!

I strongly recommend this place!
