Quick Peas Pulao Recipe using Microwave Oven

Usually, I don’t follow any recipe. However, I follow my mom & better half, when I feel like cooking. I will listen to their instructions, but I will add excessive ingredients to the dish, which turned out really well. I am lazy, when it comes to cooking. But if I feel like cooking, I will go and get my stuff and start my adventure. Well, recently I cooked the Peas Pulao using Microwave, though I had just one hour time. That Peas Pulao came out really well!

Here is the recipe!

I just took 22 minutes to cook this Simple Mild Spiced Peas Pulao in Microwave Oven!

Ingredients:

  1. 2 Spoons Ghee
  2. 2 Spoons Cooking Oil
  3. 1 small piece of Cinnamon
  4. 1/2 Spoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  5. 4 Cloves
  6. 1 Small Onion
  7. 1 Carrot
  8. 3 Chilies
  9. 1/2 Cup of Green Peas
  10. 1 Cup or 225 Grams of Basmati Rice
  11. Water (2 Cups or 450ml)

Method:

  1. Put Ghee & Oil in a Casserole along with Cloves, Cinnamon, Chilies, Chopped onions and Carrots – Microwave for 90 Seconds.
  1. Add Soaked Rice, Water (2 Cups or 450ml) along with Green Peas & Salt to the Casserole.
  2. Mix Gently.
  3. Microwave for 16 minutes.
  4. Serve Hot with Raitha.
