Relished My Favorite Street Food “Delhi Street Food Festival” at Soho St, Bengaluru

November 9, 2015

Most of the people in Bangalore know that Soho Street is one of the best restaurants in Town for the Wide Spread Buffet. The Soho Street offers some wide range of starters along with Main Course & Desserts.

Every now & then, the restaurants are coming up with Food Festival concept along with their regular servings. In the same trend, Soho St also had come up with “Delhi Street Food Festival” to cheer their Patrons. I am sure the South Indians might not get an opportunity to try out the authentic dishes of North India in down south under one roof.

I am not a buffet person, still I love to visit Soho St because of the dishes they offer and the service & taste is similar to Ala-carte. A person will never step back without trying most of the dishes at Soho St.

On the Occasion of “Delhi Street Food Festival” The Soho St offered the Street Foods like Matar Kulcha, Dahi Bhalla, Papdi Chaat, Paani Puri, Dal Pakodi, Fruit Chat, Aloo Fry, Kulfi and Jalebi at different counters. They had set up the counters similar to the ones found in Chandni Chowk, Delhi. All these dishes were inspired from legendary places & joints like Sadar Bazar Paani Puri, Raju Chaat Bhandar, Chacha wala, Kamal Nagar, Rudraraj and Pahalwan.

The People from Delhi will definitely know all these places for sure and it will be bliss for a Street Food lover like me. I enjoyed every dish and I couldn’t go till main course at Soho Street during my visit for dinner. There were total 15 starters, including street food and that’s commendable!

This festival was happening from October 21st to November 8th and Thank god, I got an opportunity to visit on the last day of the festival and savor all the dishes.

During my visit, I got an Excellent Service from Mr. Ajit, who served all the dishes on my table and he has a deep knowledge to make a guest happy with his etiquettes and suggestions. He is truly an asset to Soho St.

The Soho St has a Rich and colorful ambiance. The Décor gives you an energy of Trafalgar square, the eloquence of Big Ben, and the quaint charm of the Thames, sitting right here, in Bengaluru. Inspired by the rich cultural heritage and the bountiful flamboyance of London. The open kitchen, live counters, and authentic wooden décor complement the fine-dining experience. Their best-in-class interiors are designed to enliven the spirit of London, one can relax with family and friends.

I would like to Thank Chef Ashok Meena for his Hospitality and his extremely innovative concepts!

Looking forward to see more Food Festivals at Soho St!
