Ring in your Sunday with the Weekend Hangover Breakfast at Biere Club

April 4, 2016

Following a new trend is something quite common these days in every city and partying late nights on Friday and Saturday’s are becoming a mandatory duty for most of the folks in the town. In Bangalore, it’s restricted to 1am at most of the pubs & restaurants, but people still go home and party with friends till morning! I have so many friends who do that every weekend.

Well, The Biere Club, Lavelle Road recently introduced a Hangover Breakfast Menu, which has Omelettes, frittatas, scrambled eggs, French toast, pancakes, pizzas and salads – These dishes werecreated by the folks with great attention to cure the Hangover. They also have Biere Pitchers, Biere Cocktails, Biere Mojitos and Sangrias. Kudos to the team for such a scrumptious menu!

Recently, I was invited to try out the dishes from new Hangover Breakfast Menu at The Biere Club, Lavelle Road – A Street where so many posh cars are evident. The Biere Club is a final destination for all the craft beer lovers and one of the early opened breweries in town.

The Biere Club has a beautiful décor in all 3 floors and an amazing street view on the ground floor. However, we were sitting on the first floor right next to Pool Table. The first and second floors have huge windows with high tables to enjoy the charming view of Namma Bengaluru. The furniture seems like aged, which gave an additional elegance to the place. The seating is comfortable though!

It was a bright Sunday morning and we were there around 11am. The breakfast started with a Bucket of French fries, Pancakes with Maple Syrup and rich Nutella, Kheema Pav, Vegan Breakfast Combo (Grilled Tomato, Scrambled Tofu with Bell Peppers, Hash Browns, Blueberry Pan Cakes, Baked Beans, Bread loaf and Butter), Simple English Breakfast Combo (Frittata, Hash browns and loaf of bread with Butter), Pizzas followed by some freshly brewed beers, beer cocktails and my favorite Beer Mojito.

Usually, Vegetarians don’t get anything on the English breakfast fare. But, surprised to see the Vegan Breakfast Combo, which was a life saver for this Poor Vegetarian.  It was simply awesome and especially loved the scrambled tofu. My foodie friends said tofu tastes exactly like a scrambled egg, which is estimable. The tomato was grilled perfectly and baked beans were just amazing on the toast. Whereas, Hash Browns were light, crispy and delicious. I am not a fan of Pan Cakes for some reason. However, I started liking it after I tried here with Maple Syrup and Nutella.

When we walk in to any restaurant, we definitely expect a good service. In the sense, we expect someone with good attention for all our needs. We also should notice about the subject knowledge and suggesting a dish according to our requirement. In the Biere Club, I would give full marks for the knowledge they have in suggesting dishes. A couple my friends were sitting on the other floor and they also experienced a best in class service.
