After a nice meet up with fellow foodies at Gustoes, I was hankering for a spicy veg biryani. I have covered utmost of all except new ones in South Bangalore.
One of my foodie friend’s recommendations we started to Kritunga which is right opposite to Jayanagar Police Station and in the same path of Mayyias.

Restaurant edifice is attractive with amusing name board and this is the only restaurant which is under “Rayalaseema Style”. Folks generally say that Andhra style food is spicy but up to some extent that statement is not correct.
Kritunga clarified the qualm to people by segregating cuisines by Andhra & Rayalaseema.
Restaurant is located in 1st floor and steps are not so welcoming, but that should be ok if we get nice food. One of the waiters is able to redirect us to a table which can accommodate three people. Seating was comfortable and floor was fairly neat with white & black permutation. All I would say is best in class criterions.
Service was superb, I never seen such a great attentive staff in any of the Andhra style restaurants in Bangalore. They were good in suggesting dishes and food was delivered on table very quickly. Well, no grumbles about the service part during busy Sunday night.
Out of three, two were vegetarians & one non vegetarian. We ended up ordering Paneer Biryani, Veg Biryani & Chicken Biryani. As starter we ordered an Egg Masala.
We knew that the dishes are super spicy here but on top it, advised him to make it even spicier then the regular. That was a big mistake from our end. Yes, my eyes started watering with the spiciness of Paneer Biryani but still I enjoyed the food. Lot of Chilly chunks in the Biryani made it even tastier for a spicy lovers like me. Veg Biryani was quite attired (Spicier) and palates pronounced, I find it wasn’t an authentic biryani but taste was just awe-inspiring.

Manager was very polite and has a good knowledge of the dishes what they served over here. As per the conversation with him, they wanted to be unique in the Industry. That’s definitely a nice concept to create a strong customer base. We can’t compare this restaurant with any others by the taste.
Pricing was quite decent and matches to other Andhra Style restaurants in this Locality.

Note: Do visit this place if you are a spicy food lover, otherwise there is no point in going here for a lunch or dinner and strongly I will not recommend this restaurant for non-spicy lovers. My Article / review is based on Vegetarian Prospective.
