Chilis is one of the best International Tex-mex cuisine restaurants.
They have already in Orion Mall and Phoenix Mall. This outlet is opened recently at Indiranagar and just opposite to Vapour. It was in my wish list from quite some time and that wish was fulfilled yesterday because of foodies meet.
I reached there by 1pm and surprised to see that it was crowded heavily.
Good that we had reserved before itself. Place is built or renovated perfectly to accommodate maximum crowd. They have 3 different levels of dining area with Outdoor seating.
Our table was reserved in the ground floor and we felt that table was bit congested, so requested them for a table in another floor.
Due to Sunday they were unable to accommodate us in any of the other floors. Only option left was outdoor seating and trust me outdoor seating was really good.
Coming to Ambiance, I have noticed and felt ground floor was bit congested and suitable for family lunch or dinner. All three generation people were dining in Ground Floor.
First floor is perfect for couple who drinks, as this floor consists of limited seating with Bar Counter.
Second floor has got ample space with good seating arrangement and great music too.
We were in the outdoor seating and location was pretty decent. Chairs and Tables were comfortable and good with Chilis logo on it.
Coming to the service, they were best in the class and know the meaning of hospitality.
Now it’s a time for food 🙂
Being a Vegetarian I normally don’t get so many options but this place is just contradictory to my perception.
Trust me I enjoyed each and every dish here and I did not take risk by ordering my self.
I requested Mr. chef to Suggest the best dishes and drinks which starts from Starters to Desserts. I got to know from the Chef, most of the products they used were imported.
I don’t want to comment on any Non Veg Dishes here but my foodie friends enjoyed the Non Veg Dishes too happily. They liked Veg Dishes too along with Non Veg.
Here are some of the dishes we tried:
Presidente margarita – Cocktail – If you are a Margarita Lover, trust me this a perfect drink to kick start your Day.
El Ni̱o РMocktail РGood and Must Try.
Peach hills – Mocktail – I did not try this personally but my friend enjoyed the taste of it.
Triple dipper with tempura chicken crispers, buffalo meat burgers and chicken wings – Non Veg Starters
Fried quesadilla bites, cheese poppers, south western rolls with ranch sauce and sour cream – Veg Starters – This is perfectly suitable for Vegetarians and I am sure you will fall in love it, especially cheese poppers.
Blue pacific – Cocktail – This looks exactly like a beach drink and tastes heaven.
Minty melon – Mocktail
Honey melon martini – Mocktail
Explosion chicken salad, Jambalaya New Orleans and Mushroom jacked chicken fajita – I did not try this because it was Non Veg 🙂
Veg cheese quesadilla – Here comes another favourite dish of mine. The Quesadillas which I had here was really good compare to the one I had at Ruby Tuesday. It was stuffed in a perfect manner with some additional toppings.
At last Desserts time – I am not desserts and Chocolate lover but here I loved both the desserts which mentioned below.
Molten Chocolate Lava Cake – If you are a chocolate lover, this is a perfect dessert with choco lava inside and browny at the bottom with Great Vanilla Ice cream.
Paradise Pie – Best dessert which I had now with cake at the bottom and ice cream at the top and dry fruit s to make your meal complete.
This is not a pocket friendly or value for money restaurant but going here once in a while doesn’t harm your pockets.
I strongly recommend this place for the people who like Tex-Mex cuisine..
Overall it was a very Good experience 🙂
