Sly Granny is a new addition to Indiranagar. The place created lot of buzz during the launch, which made lot of people to add it to the “Wishlist” and I was one among those after looking at the rave reviews and pictures about the place. I missed visiting with my foodie friends a couple of times. However, the venture itself invited last week to experience the food & cocktails.

Well, I have accepted the invitation and visited Sly Granny for lunch along with bunch of foodies. I would say, place is nicely done with royal & antique interiors and a theme of Dining Room, lobby bar, living room and terrace across both the floors. Precisely, the décor is just stunning and will get a feel of old British bungalow. The terrace has a breathtaking view with a speakeasy atmosphere.

Coming to the food, it’s extraordinary and made with lot of love, the way how granny cooks food for us! I have tried Barley Salad, Baked Brie Veg, Onion Potato Flat Bread, Imam Bayaldi, Orange Pannacota, Cheese Cake and Walnut Pie. On a healthy note, Barley salad tastes really good with caramelized onions & orange. So refreshing! Baked Brie was cheesy yet flavorful & presented really well. Here comes my favorite among all, flat Bread – The bread was crispy & the aroma of olive oil lasted till the last bite. The sweet potato cubes along with onions topped with micro greens on flat bread formed a perfect dish. I am sure, one cannot deny it. In Main Course, Imam Bayaldi shouldn’t be missed. An eggplant dish baked with perfection & topped with pomegranate seeds, mint chutney and dill leaves placed on Couscous with right amount of seasoning. Walnut Pie was best among other 2 desserts!

We also have tried few signature cocktails like Chase & Status, Caballito, Salad in a Glass and Berry Basil Caipiroska. All these cocktails have its own charm and strong flavors without overpowering the original flavors of liquor. I will also like to highlight that, all the cocktails at Sly Glanny is comparatively strong compare to other places.

During our visit, I could see only highly dignified family crowd and the service was top notch. They certainly give you the best dining experience and I am sure it will be memorable. I also noticed few happy faces after the satisfied meal.
