Pizza Hut certainly doesn’t need intro and this international pizza chain is well-known to everyone for a decade now. There were so many players initially but they couldn’t beat Pizza Hut. The chain understood the palate of Indians and quickly did innovations for continues improvement. Their Pan Pizzas are good and I was told they are fast selling! I am sure most of us might have had our first pizza at Pizza hut itself if I am not wrong.
The innovation went little ahead and introduced “Cracker Thin” Pizzas by keeping younger generation in mind. Well, the changes are basically with three elements like Base, Sauce and toppings to be precise. They haven’t made any changes with respect to Cheese. I was one of the luckiest among to witness by tasting these Pizzas at Pizza Hut, Forum Mall outlet in Bangalore. It was an exclusive event with few folks from various media.
How different these Cracker Thin Pizzas? We are in a phase to appreciate authentic Italian & thin crust pizzas more than thick crust ones. Since, these pizzas are light and not heavy. One can certainly have as a snack. These thin crust pizzas are pretty common in some of the pubs and pizzas are becoming like a quick bites with a mug of beer. Well, the cracker thin pizzas over Pizza hut are good with fresh & more toppings and can sense the changes made with sauce. However, the base wasn’t something how they are showcasing these thin cracker pizzas. But Pizzas are simply superb if you keep that “Cracker” word aside from your mind. Please note these pizzas are completely on different league and cannot be compared with other international chains and other popular pizza places in the city.
What did I try? Veggie Supreme and Paneer Vegorama – These names are not something new for regulars to Pizza Hut. They kept the same names of these pizzas with Cracker thin. In Veggie Supreme, I found the topping were more and fresh though. In Paneer Vegorama, the Paneer cubes were very soft. They have both Veg & Non Veg pizzas in Cracker Thin range.
We also had their Cheese Garlic Bread and Lemonade too, which are decent.
They also have Choco Chip Cookie for very long time and never got a chance to try until this visit. Trust me, its out of the world and must try.
Now it’s your turn to try “Cracker Thin” Pizzas and share your feedback by commenting on this post!
Note: Currently these Pizzas are available only at few outlets in Bangalore and Jaipur.
