Change is Constant! Yes, this is what the new rule followed by Mainland China by introducing Asia Kitchen in one of the posh localities of Bangalore. Well, Asia Kitchen in Koramangala is the brand new outlet with eye catching red themed interiors and a typical fine dining place. Asia Kitchen offers dishes from Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Myanmar and China!
Asia Kitchen is going to be a favorite place for all Pan Asian Lovers in Bangalore and the taste of the dishes are impeccable and praiseworthy. We were there during the launch of Asia kitchen and loved the hospitality & service from Asia Kitchen folks.
As I said before, the restaurant has pretty posh décor with two types of seating area including upper level. The chairs & tables are classy to give a feel of typical fine-dining.
We had numerous varieties of mouthwatering dishes and I adored every dish served during our visit. Here are some of the dishes we tried Tom Yum Soup, Dynamite Tofu, Vegetable Chili Basil Dumplings, Crispy Vegetables with Kaffir Lime, Chili Teriyaki Potatoes, Vegetables in Thai Green Curry, Assorted Vegetables in Roasted Chili, Corn and Potato Tsing Hoi Style, Vegetable Lemon Grass Rice, Caramel Sponge Cake with Toffee Sauce, Hot Chocolate Roll, Honey Noodles with Orange and Basil.
Tom Yum Soup – A typical Thai soup and the soup had distinct hot and sour flavors, with fragrant spices. I sensed the taste of lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves and galangal.
Dynamite Tofu – I liked the way it was presented. The dynamite tofu served in a Martini Glass with decent garnishing. The dish is terrific with sweet & sour. The outer layer is crisp & the core is soft. One will truly love it.
Vegetable Chili Basil Dumplings – The Chili Basil dumplings are very nice with rich spice level. I liked the presentation & texture of these.
Crispy Vegetables with Kaffir Lime – The name itself says it’s a deep fried dish with slightly lemony and spiciness.
Chili Teriyaki Potatoes – It looks like a French Fries dipped in some barbeque sauce. However, the taste is totally distinct.
Vegetables in Thai Green Curry with Sticky Rice – In recent times, I started loving Thai Curries especially and will definitely order if I notice in the menu. Of course Asia Kitchen did a brilliant job in preparing this dish perfectly. I have no complaints about the dish. It’s simply superb.
Corn and Potato Tsing Hoi Style – A gravy kind of a dish and goes perfectly well with Fried Rice & Noodles! The dish was made with sweet corn & boiled potatoes; it was served piping hot and rich spice level. Every spicy food lover must order this dish.
Along with the food, there were some special cocktails made with White Rum, Vodka & Whisky. However, I stacked to basic cocktails.
The prices are slightly higher end but it’s praiseworthy for the Quality, Service & Taste. It’s an apt place for a date & special occasions.
It was an excellent evening with fellow foodies & Page 3 Celebrities! We enjoyed every moment spent in Asia Kitchen.
