Grange for Wood Fired Pizzas – Caffe Pascucci, Jayanagar, Bengaluru

December 17, 2014

Caffe Pascucci is one of the leading Coffee Shops in Bangalore. They have their own blended coffees and well known for “Wood Fired Pizza”. If I am not wrong Caffe Pascucci is the first restaurant in Bangalore who started serving wood fired pizzas. I have visited to this outlet couple of times just to have a cup of café latte. Being a coffee lover, I have tried café latte especially everywhere in the town. I have my own favorite dishes which will always tempt my tongue if it’s part of their menu.

This place is located right opposite to the Vijaya or BHS College in Jayanagar 4th Block and you don’t require a land mark to catch this place.

I did not happy with the first time visit. I went there by 12pm in the afternoon and staffing was very less. Most of the dishes in the menu were not there especially Wood fired pizza. I have decided not to visit this place in future but second time I went here along with few friends on force.

My second visit gave very positive impression and it was in weekend evening starts from quick bites till coffee. It was decently crowded with the combination of college students and middle aged people.

They had one outdoor table and I was comfortably able to accommodate in that table. Seating was very good. We thought of having only a coffee, our main intention was to spend time but ended up half course Italian meal. We started with Potato Rosties and Oregano Crusted Potato Wedges – These two dishes made us to proceed further on other dishes without ended up nothing. Trust me it was so yumm!

Next we ordered Wood Fired Veg Pizza (Don’t remember the name exactly) and green pesto pizza, both were thin crusted pizzas. We felt the real essence of Italian herbs. Tastes great with chili flakes and oregano.

At last my favorite I have decided to order Café Latte but it wasn’t there but on suggestion from a person, who served i ordered Latte Macchiato which was 50% similar to Latte. But real latte lover might not like it.

Ambiance was decent and I feel other outlets of Caffe Pascucci better than this.

Service was excellent and the person who served was eager to suggest the dishes. In fact he started talking about the origin of the dishes which is in the menu. It was quick though!

Pricing is bit higher side then Café Coffee Day!!

Sorry folks no photos, I was not a reviewer or blogger during my last visit.
