One of the newly opened restaurants in Bangalore, which serves Italian, European, Chinese and Thai cuisines. Within a short span of time, it created a Brand and become people favorably. I visited to very few restaurants in Kammanahalli area and this is one among them. I had a feeling that Kammanahalli’s restaurants are Non Veggie delight, but I realized that, my perception is wrong after I visited Byli.
I was invited to a tasting session along with foodie friends and my better half for a lunch. Thank god, Google maps helped us to reach here easily by 2pm.
As usual staffs are really cool and welcoming as soon as we entered in. Once you get inside there is beautiful pastry showcase and a water fountain gave me pleasant experience.
This is a very trifling café with two sections with widespread and high tables. Eye catching woody interiors with food quotes on every wall of it. I should appreciate Interior designer for his utmost work, the place is well planned without wasting any part.
We asked folks to get some signature dishes. I always do this if I visit any new restaurant. Well, we started with few chillers Pom-Berry Bellini, Berry Blast, Café Rosh and Oreo Cookie & Fudge Brownie Medley. I would say all four were too good, but being a coffee lover, my best is Café Rosh. It is more like a Tropical Iceberg but aroma and flavor are lovable.
While enjoying our drink, starters, keep coming into our table’s one after another. Starters include Mozzarella in Carrozza (Melted mozzarella enveloped in crispy slices of farmers bread and served with pesto, mint apple dip and salsa huancaina), BYLI Style Potato ((Hot and crunchy potatoes tossed in rosemary, garlic and salt, with cilantro aioli), Herb Garlic Bread, Baked Potato Skins and Moroccan Fried Mushroom ((Button mushrooms marinated in Moroccan spice and crumb fried, served with cocktail and huancaina). All these starters were excellent in one word, I am sure you will enjoy every bite of it.
A next dish which we got was Hummus & Pita; I was wondering how people eat this tasteless dish until I visited here. Trust me; hummus was superb with mild fieriness and rich in taste to make your tongue happy. Pita Bread has been so soft just like a phulka.
Pizza Georgios was an another gorgeous dish which served; it’s a thin crust pizza with good-looking toppings like Tomato, cheese, black olives, green & yellow peppers, spring onions, semi-dried tomato, herbs, garlic and feta cheese. Pizza was crispy and the cheese was piping hot, a thin crust pizza lover will definitely enjoy it!
Bonded S&M Sisters & Gnocchi Nepolitana are another two dishes where we fall in love. Bonded S&M Sisters served with some mouthwatering sauce and Gnocchi Nepolitana which prepared with deep fried potatoes and a flavor of the pesto, crispy deep fried dish.
Chef astounded us with a Creamy Curry Pasta Primavera (Spaghetti) which was an interesting dish with lots of cream & Italian Herbs. One of the must try dishes in Byli. We finished our main course with Fried Rice and Thai Red Curry which was just superb.
The meal will never complete without desserts, yes, we got our dessert platter which consists of the Black Forest, Red Velvet, Blue berry Cheese Cake and Walnut toffee. Red Velvet, It is perfect in one word. The flavor is between that of pound cake and chocolate cake. Black forest, yes, it’s favorite to every pastry lover and here it’s good though.
Service is excellent and staffs are knowledgeable on dishes.
